We spent a couple days in Connecticut at the Shake Shack of Westport. The weather was beautiful, the burgers were cooking, and Keeper Springs was on ice. After we got all set up on the deck, we were given our official Shake Shack sunglasses—it doesn’t get much cooler than that! Bunches of people came by on their lunch breaks for a burger, shake, and a bottle of Keeper Springs to wash it all down with.
We learned that the town of Westport has actually banned the use of plastic bags, which we think is awesome! Since 2008, Westport has been able to get rid of disposable plastic bags at check-out, favoring paper and reusable bags just like our Keeper Springs totes! Wouldn’t it be great if every town stopped using those annoying plastic bags?
We had lots of kids coming from sports practices and games looking a bit sweaty and tired. They were definitely in need of some hydration! There was plenty of Keeper Springs to go around for that, though we’re sure a Shake Shack flat-top hot dog and a side of crispy fries helped to hit the spot, too.
We had so much fun hanging out with Shake Shack-ers on the front deck! There was always someone to spin the prize wheel. With t-shirts, bumper stickers, and tote bags for everyone coming in to enjoy a piece of the delicious menu, it was like a never-ending BBQ smothered in Shack Sauce!
If we got you hungry during this post, then you definitely need to find your closest Shake Shack and grab a meal. And be sure to snag a bottle of Keeper Springs, because just like the menu says, it “helps restore America’s waterways.”
