Keepers Overview

Our money goes to the members of our namesake – The Waterkeeper Alliance and its Keepers. They are the real environmental heroes. At Keeper Springs, we’re increasing awareness of their mission and providing a tool – money – to help them do more for our waterways.

We help the people who act on their belief that all Americans have the right to clean water and clean waterways – they fight water pollution and the polluters themselves, by fighting for the enforcement of our clean water laws, as well as the restoration and preservation of these precious national assets.

Keepers often work with minimal budgets, meager resources and small paid staffs to keep well-financed corporate polluters out, to clean up their messes, and to ensure that our children and our children’s children will be able to enjoy America’s legacy of abundant and healthy waters for fishing, swimming and boating – and clean drinking water.
